Vance is not smart.

Instead of giving a “damning non-answer” to the Big Lie question at last week’s debate, he could have simply said:

“Tim, I’m a hollow shell who will say and do anything for the sake of power because something inside me is broken and because vaulting ambition has twisted me into a human-shaped moral failure.”

It’s really not that hard.
