@the0ther skeptical but i think i've heard of somebody similar to this a while back. jones was talking about someone like this who had been monitoring facebook and predicting multiple presidencies or something.

i never built one of these but a similar design ocurred to me for stock trading bots (using press reports to estimate distortions, since reading tickers directly is goofy)
