I have no idea how to prevent this, but it really seems like there should be a way to avoid someone just buying and ruining a major piece of shared infrastructure. Some kind of… way of saying it belongs to all of us. Some way to,,,,, remove the profit motive from a good used by the public??? Really struggling here
