   oh man, sad to see udongein go. i remember when naiji came to my instance totally excited on how much stuff there was on fedi and later went ahead to make udongein and gathered a fun community around it. i was glad to call it a sister instance.
   
   i get why @duponin@udongein.xyz is shutting it down and i wish all of the involved people who made udongein such fun the best in the future

     @puniko @duponin@udongein.xyz one of the oldest surviving -oma instances falls... but i understand why
     
     i've been considering archiving my own akkoma instance because it just uses so much storage, 10gb of database for a single user instance
