   @platypus One of the scams I see so often inside Big Tech is "oh, this thing you're being forced to use is for [someone else]". If you convince everyone it's good for someone else, you can sell to everyone because you can't miss out on the Industry Standard you hate, but someone else needs it.

     Reading subsets of survey responses again. It’s fascinating when people are like “Alma is only good for the catalogers” or “FOLIO is good for the catalogers.”

     My siblings in Ranganathan, I assure you that over half my survey respondents are catalogers and they would disagree.
