He shared, “We knew we would never return to Poland because they had already signed the partition before we landed in Normandy.” Mr. Niedzielski is believed to be the last surviving member of his division who fought in France. #WW2 #Polish1stArmouredDivision #ww2veteransmemories #ww2veterans"
