Ugh: "The critical lessons learned through the Covid-19 pandemic and its aftermath." Aftermath? I expect better from my supposed anarchist comrades who talk about mutual aid and solidarity at the start of the pandemic that still rages on -- they point the finger at capitalists and liberals suggesting that the spirit of community in a pandemic they suggest is in the past has been trampled on, without realising that if they want to see who was key to stamping it out, they need only look in a mirror. https://freedompress.org.uk/product/fight-for-a-new-normal/
One more thing on this. Aside from the valid criticism that too many activists want visibility and recognition, there are anarchist bookshops and bookfairs irrationally scared of losing their space if they acknowledge we're still in a pandemic -- but that isn't just ableist af, that isn't just denialist, and that isn't just buying into a capitalist narrative, it's also total bullshit when you recognise that countless bookfairs stateside, and many bookstores like Firestorm, still operate while promoting Covid precautions. I'm not sure how things got so rotten so quickly here in the UK.
