@anna @dangerdyke @krankheit chimera uses dinit which has service files rather than shell scripts which i really like, shell script services are slow and suck to write. theyre also developing a real alternative to logind called turnstile, because elogind is bad. & basically all packages on chimera are compiled with clang, the packaged kernels are compiled with thin lto too i think.

@rat @dangerdyke @krankheit probably most things are better than openrc but its the trashfire i know and STOP TRYING TO MAKE ME USE SYSTEMD ARGH i should check out chimera

@rat @anna @dangerdyke @krankheit not just the kernels, just about every package that doesnt literall break with it gets thin lto, the entire project has also been an exercise in finding and fixing bugs that cause issues with it
