If I lived in America, I wouldn't put up a Kamala sign on my garden, I'd just vote for Kamala, that's enough for me. Why do I want a MAGA brick through my window at 3am?

In 2020 a barn located less than 3 miles from my home with Biden Harris painted on it was burned to the ground. The arsonists were found and admitted doing it because of the sign.

Expressing one's preferences is great... but one is also painting a target on one's back. At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is voting for Kamala, for yard-signs don't do anything, and imo are dangerous (in these times).

we had elections in Britain this year, I saw one (1) political sign, very likely for the same reason. UK Motor insurers also discourage *all* stickers in or on cars (politics, religion, sportsball teams, even car-related stickers) and can load premiums if you have them as it makes the vehicle a target..

The thought has occurred to me to put up some little voodoo orange doll in the window, with pins sticking in it's head, but I imagined some drunken racist Hitler-fetishist walking by, and linging a brick through my window. This is England, but I still thought better of it. No, the longer I live, the more important it seems to hide one's intentions, because if you say 'I love white!', all the people who love black will be against you, and vice versa, whereas if people don't know where you stand, you quietly vote for Kamala in November, and nobody will ever know that you saved democracy from a tyrant, but you did.
