   @skc It's folks like yourself and your project that kept me from leaving WP for as long as I did. The projects that are there for the project, not the "big money.” It's also situations like yours though that have had me looking for a WP exit for a while now. I was so scared of having all my eggs in that one basket.

   I'm not trying to say I have an answer here, or probably even a point. I do want to say thank you for what you've done with @pods. I've used it for years due to your work with it.

     One of the things that makes all of the WP stuff harder for me personally is that I’ve given many thousands of hours of time into @pods and donated* over $100k personally to help get it to where it’s at today. To see the “state of the word” as it is today really stings deeply. I put all my eggs into this basket 🫠

     *covering costs of extra devs, support, docs, and other things sponsors+donors alone couldn’t cover (my own time isn’t included in that $)
