@tlapka @aetios the reason for this isn't mechanical wear but the fact that mouse vendors deliberately hook up those switches with a load current that is lower than the minimum recommended in the datasheet
so over time the switch builds an oxide layer until it doesn't make a reliable connection anymore. this makes failure predictable and usually occur within 2 or 3 years
