  In all seriousness, I'm not a fan of the bar. Those guys are all government lackies that have never had a real job. They live in ivory tower and are completely disconnected from the people they govern. They tend to screw over the solos and small firms and will play soft ball with the big firms and politically connected.
  
  I've seen them turn the other way when guys do really messed up shit, and also hammer a guy for something minor.
  
  Also, if you lose a disciplinary action, you have to pay their fees in addition to other penalties. They don't pay yours if you win. It forces the smaller guys to just give up.

  Most discipline is for invading a client trust account, which I get. But I knew a guy who got his license suspended and had to pay the bar because his partner became schizophrenic, literally, and ran with the firms money without warning. Somehow it was his fault.
