   I can't vote in my own polls, but IMO Peak Windows was 7 (someone let me buy the ultimate edition with employee pricing) and the worst was Windows ME.

     After using Windows 2.0 through Windows ME, Windows 2000 was simply amazing.

     Great hardware support and it basically never crashed.

     Windows XP and later (skipping Windows Vista and 8.0) was based on that solid foundation.
