The new pointless hoarding makes me mad, I'm probably going to North Carolina next week to volunteer and was planning to go get a bunch of bottled water and TP from Costco to take to people in an actual disaster area but they probably don't have any left 😡 This is from a local news station. @sunguramy look at this! #Hoarding #HurricaneHelene

1. Photos of empty aisles at Costco Hurricane relief or hoarding? This is the aisle where the water, , paper towels, and TP normally are stocked. Employees told me there were 700 people in line Wednesday am when the store opened. They cleaned out this area in 30 minutes. A second truck of these items was unloaded and THAT went out the door! I hope every drop of water and every 2-ply is headed to areas devastated by Helene. Oh, and if you were headed here today to restock or purchase these items for hurricane relief, don't bother. I was told no trucks due Thursday with these items. Public service announcement: 90% of these paper products are made in America and are trucked or railed in.
