The reason this Biden-Harris plan is constantly going back and forth in the courts is because MAGA Republican AGs keep trying to sue it out of existence.

They hate it when someone tries to make normal peoples’ lives better instead of making already rich people’s lives better.

@TonyStark same on all counts. I got 3 degrees (one was a dual degree program) and I fully support canceling student debts. An Educated nation is a fruitful nation and the reason republicans want a nation full of uneducated overburdened debtors is bc they are easy to control and will work for low wages bc they have no choice. this is exactly what their overlords want and always have wanted

@TonyStark it’s sad to me that there are actual ppl that are upset about this bc they had to pay their student loans. Which is the rep main argument against it. “It’s not fair for the ppl that did”. 😑 Wanting the generations after you to have the same hardships you had bc it’s not fair if they don’t is beyond gross. Isn’t the whole point of life to leave the world a little better than how you found it?

@Utah44 Education is a societal benefit.

Some of those being forgiven have already paid back 2 or 3 times what they borrowed, yet still owe 10's of thousands. I guess some think we should only bail out millionaires and billionaires, not people who really need help.

I have more than one degree and had small loans I paid off. I also attended college when school was more affordable. I do not in any way resent these reductions/ erasures of school debt for others. I do mind handouts to the rich.
