   @mikoto @stefan At the end of my last sysadmin job I got stuck maintaining a dozen wordpress sites. If there's only a few, vetted plugins it's not so bad. The thing I ran into was though, installing random plugins and a wordpress update breaks them. I couldn't rely on the plugin authors to update quickly so I had to fix them myself. Luckily I am a programmer but it frequently was not fun. I still use wordpress but it's a mixed bag.

     @stefan @mikoto yep. The graphic designer picked plugins and I had to deal with the maintenance aftermath, haha.

     @sun @mikoto That sounds like a recipe for desaster. I guess there is reasons why I made it a philosophy to use as little plugins as possible.

     @sun @mikoto @stefan I'm gonna have to deal with Wordpress soon but the general trend seems to be to use as few plugins as possible.
