   That's weird. I don't use the app, just my laptop and work PC, but if I was having problems with the app, I would just log onto my profile on the website and look at it from there. You might not have certain settings on the ap that you can mess with on the web interface. Good luck

     @GoodNewsGreyShoes @jacklaridian You just made me double check again, lol. But nope, I use Tusky and don't have those specific settings, but I do have "limit timeline notifications" and it's turned to "off."
