   I bought some eggs and they say, "refrigerate after purchase" on the pack.

   They aren't refrigerated _before_ purchase, and the label doesn't know how long they've been on the shelf, does it?

   This is kind of like, "do not feed them after midnight".

   Anyway, I thought putting eggs in the fridge was only something you needed to do in the US.

     @moopet are they washed by the factory? American eggs are and that's one of the reasons
