@suquili @sickburnbro The oddest part is I'm old enough to remember that being true. The mass influx didn't start until the 80's with Reagans amnesty.

@Escoffier @sickburnbro @suquili I remember sitting next to an old lady on a mall bench in the mid 90s and a Mexican family walked past. She leaned over and whispered "they're really everywhere now!" I was in my early teens and thought it was a little silly because I didn't really see them very much, so a random family of beaners was no big deal. A novelty really. Wish I could go back in time and lean over to young me and the old lady and tell them how bad it's gonna get.

@Escoffier @suquili yeah, I feel like you had mentioned something like that. For most people born past that time, "mexicans run commerical kitchens" is just the norm. Which is crazy I guess, how fast it changed.
