   We have moved from shrinkflation to the next step.
   Everything now has a “NEW IMPROVED RECIPE”

   They’re making stuff cheaper to produce. I find these especially funny because of how damning some of the “improvements” are. “Now with more x” (… because it’s cheaper. Or offsetting something else)

   More tomatoey tasting tomatoes or something is all Tesco have said about their new improved meal deals. Ok, so have they’ve replaced a more expensive ingredient with more tomato?

     But don’t worry they’ve got little signs all over the shop saying buy stuff for the food bank collection point.

     While contributing to the problem.

     While their pre-tax profits more than doubled in a year.

     Nothing AT ALL wrong with that.
