   It's interesting they were in an era where they just didn't go back; deciding it wasn't worth it. They chose to leave, where today people are like "Well they're in a position of power, so you don't have a choice."
   
   People either have agency or they don't. You either choose or you can't. Capitalism is either the freedom to work for who you want, or its not. You can't have both.
