1. Photography. A black and white photo showing a section of a pine tree trunk. The photograph shows the natural curves and lines of the trunk and plays with light and shadow to emphasize the texture and shape. The tree trunk has pronounced curves reminiscent of the shape of a human body. You could almost think you can see a belly button in the middle. Is it a female body? The interplay of nature, light and fine structures breathes life into the photo and stimulates the imagination. Info: Edward Weston (1886-1958) was one of the most important American photographers of the 20th century and co-founder of the f/64 group. Even during his lifetime, he was regarded as a master and classic of artistic black and white photography. He created most of his works with an 8 × 10-inch plate camera. (Source: Wikipedia)
