@GossiTheDog I'm surprised.. Normally it's said if the chip is already damaged by the faulty microcode then the only solution is RMA - the updates just stop it getitng worse.

If it was unstable, THE CPU HAS PHYSICAL DAMAGE. SEVERE IRREPARABLE DAMAGE. IT CANNOT BE REPAIRED.
YOUR CPU IS A BRICK.RMA it to Intel. If they argue, remind them they admitted fault publicly.
