   Any experts in houseplants or bonsai know what are we supposed to doto do if we see a mushroom growing in the same pot as bonsai?

   The mushroom is in the soil, not the wood. Is this a good/bad/neutral thing?

     @dohappybelove Most probably the mushroom comes with the dead wood in the substrate and will (hopefully) not eat your plant. :)
     Some fungi do feed on living wood of course.
