   I still have a cd drive from 1999 that still works.
   People are shitting and pissing about how in the next five decades and more that the format that we currently use might not be compatible with future stuff, bruh, cd players are still a thing and they have been around for over 40 year, UDF file system is still unchanged.
   The only thing that is changing is that some big brains in corporate sponsored course in education are teaching even worse garbage (cloud) that I was already taught at the time(subcontract).
   And people are progressively starting to see that "serverless" "cloud" is scam.
   
   Edit: just stop thinking about this and just get storage medium that has long lifespan, as long as the data is readable people will come up with ways to be able to read it.
