    LA LOM: The Los Angeles League of Musicians

    On one hand, there are like a dozen bands in NYC making similarly cool takes on cumbia & related. On the other, I can't get enough of it. These guys have found an easygoing instrumental sweet spot & are making a name for themselves. Steady grooves in barely-song-sized packages. 13 tracks, not even 40 minutes, a mood all the way. Enjoy!
