Over the weekend, after the shenanigans with the expired asthma inhaler, I rested a lot.
Some dental pain was due to be addressed in a week, but it got a lot worse on Sunday. Luckily I was able to get an emergency appointment yesterday and had the replacement crown put in.
But the dentist didn't use any anesthesic because it isn't usually necessary with that kind of procedure.
Well it was mostly okay. but when they used the cold water to clean the surface before cementing in the new crown, I *wailed*.
I am learning to sit with unpleasant feelings and allow them to exist, instead of trying to ignore or suppress them.
But it's still new and challenging for me, and I find myself reacting in ways I don't expect.
