   the worst zig take ever is "zig is a c replacement while XYZ is a c++ replacement". I see this so much it makes my brain numb.

   I literally started zig out of frustration with C++

     @andrewrk I'm on board with this not being a helpful way to compare languages, but to be fair, [it was you](https://web.archive.org/web/20230309150745/https://andrewkelley.me/) who first touted Zig as a C replacement :P
