Hi there, I'd just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Linux, is in fact, Steam/Linux, or as I've recently taken to calling it, Steam plus Linux. Linux is not an operating system unto itself, but rather another free component of a fully functioning Steam system.

@crunklord420 The kernel, Linux is proprietary software.
If you want a free version of Linux, you need GNU Linux-libre.
Steam is crappy 32-bit proprietary malware that is linked against glibc - it doesn't care about what kernel you use, but it cares about finding GNU.
