I know people like to point out progressive lefty-friendly quotes from Jesus but he also said a bunch of not so great things too.

He was just some human being with very human flaws. If you read the gospels without the rose tinted glasses of a christian upbringing, that comes through loud and clear.

He was a flawed human being who did and said some rather flawed human things.

People deified him after he was executed.

But he's still a human being. He always was.

And nothing more than that.
