Every human artist is inspired and influenced by previous works. They had to see and consume art to get to where they are today.
I don't think you can take an isolated human with no access to any art, no knowledge of color theory, etc etc and get anything more advanced than cave drawings. By their very nature of being isolated from the rest of humanity you're just making a Jungle Book Mowgli-

It's a very Aristotolean view, and explains why they can't get the number of teeth right.
