Years ago, when I first moved to Kitchener, I found an African restaurant not far from where I lived. I was excited by this because I'd never had African food before.

When the waitstaff came by for my order, I showed him what I wanted, and he said, "sorry, but we're all out."

I chose something else, and he said they were all out of that, too.

The same thing happened for the third choice.

Finally, I asked him to show me what they actually did have, and out of a big menu, there were only two things. I still don't know why he didn't tell me this in the first place.

The restaurant did not last much longer. I'll betcha this was one of the reasons.
