   #cdrama Love of Nirvana (Viki & WeTV) is one utterly twisted story.

   At one level it is a fairly straightforward revenge mystery court politics drama with the great Jeremy Tsui as a shrewd official up against Allan Ren, helped by a spunky FL.

   But then some shifty writing kicks in: Reng has big secrets, an utterly awful cruelty-filled past causing flashes of PTSD, a streak of cruelty & paranoia a mile wide. He tortures. He bullies. Slickly. While also being righteous & noble. He is Batman!
