     @navi I think what matters here is that whatever your work is about, it doesn't stand and fall with some demented techbro going rouge or not, so I think you're doing good.

     my "tech stack" is usually always c, some libs, maybe shell scripts, because it's comfy for me
     
     but the tech areas i work on are so diverse, init systems, graphics programming, wine (the windows translation layer), window managers/wayland compositors, http servers, parsers (json, json-ld), os-dev, cli tools, gui code
     
     so idk if i fit on monoculture or diverse culture

     Anyway. Monoculture is bad. Diversify your skills. Your preferred CMS or tech stack is not a belief system. Perhaps a single deranged former wunderkind should not be the single point of failure of the way you make a living.
