     @hobiis that's SO EXPENSIVE wtf

     I don't know where you are in Canada, so I just randomly picked Vancouver to Sydney return and searched flights.google.com, found many options under $2000 AUD. So it would be a bit cheaper than that in CAD.

     I mean. It's still not pocket change.😂

     @hobiis flights.google.com is great because you can do an initial search on specific dates, then you can see a date grid that shows the prices for nearby combos of dates

     @lookitmychicken RETURN!?!??! ok well now I'm looking. I'm on the west coast so Vancouver is my nearest international airport, but getting there is the hard part (and another $100 at least, sob).

     Ok, I have never tried flights.google.com but now I'm intrigued. I was looking just via the one reliable carrier in Canada (WestJet)! But I forgot the other (Air Canada) does more intercontinental flights and would therefore be better... anyway, just found a round trip for $1575! DANG. It's only a 25 hour trip each way...
