   Seems not everyone is enamored of the new Social Web Foundation. I don’t agree with this critique, because if we want the fediverse to grow then it needs efforts like FediForum and SWF. I definitely don’t trust Meta, so I get that aspect of it.      @ricmac Erin was the original author of the spec that became ActivityPub. She is as old school as it gets.

     @ricmac in terms of liking the Foundation: not everyone is going to agree with our goals (a bigger, better Fediverse) nor with our structure, supporters, advisors, or founders. But I hope they'll still benefit from the work we do.
