     @lain Normoid westerners don't go to Japan. It doesn't even occur to them to go there. Japan is for faggot nerds and weirdos with gross fetishes. Admitting to affinity for any sort of Japanese stuff besides sushi and cars makes people want to report you to the police for being a sex offender. It's easier to get away with reading bed time stories to children while dressed as a gendersexual helldemon than even knowing what Frieren is. It has to be a dirty little secret.
