   My favourite sport to play is cricket because when we did it at school the teacher didn't make us wear gloves and while I was batting a girl threw badly and it slightly brushed my finger and I went down like a premier league footballer on a tiny contact then I didn't have to do PE for the rest of the year in case my parents sued.

     Haven't played cricket since. If I ever do I am 100% pulling that move again, and I've had like 25 years of practice at dramatics since then.

     I do remember vividly that they had us all padded up on the legs, helmets and breastplates, it was a glaring omission to have not bothered with the gloves and in hindsight there was almost definitely a full health and safety process initiated. But also, it barely hurt and imo it is a moral imperative to shirk PE wherever possible.
