   My husband I ended up finishing Scavenger's Reign early this morning. It was an excellent series from start to finish, and I hope Netflix green lights a second season.

   I still do regret watching the show in large chunks because the realistic horror aspects fuck with my anxiety. A pace of a few episodes per week would have been better for me.

   Even so, Scavenger's Reign is one of those amazing stories that only comes around every so often. It's not to be missed.

     Here's my obligatory fuck Kamen post.

     Throughout his flashbacks he's the very definition of a toxic person.

     His selfish actions got the crew of the Demeter stranded on Vesta. Even to the point where he got his wife killed, after begging her to come with him on the ship. Only to leave her behind when she needed him the most.

     Then he runs away from his problems by given into the Hollow, and makes things so much worse for the survivors of the Demeter.

     The biggest irony? He was the most useless of the crew, caused the accident incident, and got a bunch of the survivors killed. Yet he's one of the people left alive once all the figurative dust settles in the season finale.

     If there's a season 2, Kamen will probably get a redemption arc. He came to finally realize HE's the problem. He's toxic. His wife and a majority of the crew died because of his actions. Admitting you're the problem is a good first step.

     @silver_huskey Oh, these posts have me begging for a second season again. I've still got my fingers crossed, because there are so many places for the story to go from where they left it.

     @Dio_Senrab I'm hoping that it does numbers on Netflix so they'll consider it. Netflix isn't perfect, but they're not as hostile as Max's regime.

     As for the show, yeah, that ending. I'm curious how the characters will get on now that they're likely not leaving Vesta. Also, Kris and one of Levi's kids being found by that weird cult.

     @silver_huskey Yeah. I think the ending is solid enough, but the showrunners made sure to leave room to explore the story a little more. I hope they get at least one more season.
