     I never got the impression that huskies paid attention to people. goldens pay attention and they are a happy breed but they are also so smart that they are independent of their owners. german shepherds are one-man dogs but they are never very happy. dalmations are harmless but stupid. irish setters would be like goldens except they are less stable.
