     it's sad that even after hundreds of years of progress, the peoples of the world have not recognized the superiority of the Anglo system and all the advantages a mature capitalism yields, like getting paid $7.37 to work fast food in the US.

     I know some states have minimum wage, but not all? I remember fast food chains complaining that at minimum wage they cannot keep open. and of course folks in Austin will have to make more than in Redneckston Mississippi

     The absence of a Chinese alphabet is due to the vast number of characters and the historical development of the writing system. Chinese characters, numbering in the tens of thousands, make it challenging to create an alphabet. Homonyms are common in Chinese due to limited syllables and extensive vocabulary.
