There are two road intersections around here that I have named.

One, the Intersection of Doom, is a huge, confusing intersection that's covered in merciless red-light cameras. Sometimes the cameras flash even if you've done nothing wrong, and you won't know until a month later whether you've gotten a ticket.

The other, the Intersection of Death, is a three-way with no light, and the road curves such that one approach can't see the other two until it's almost too late to avoid a collision.
