   The instance I am on recently had been updated with “edit” support. Unlike “delete and redraft” which afaik always existed at least since I joined in April, “edit” won’t orphan any replies to your post.

     @donnodubus it will mark your post as edited, I have seen some instances showing an edit history, but I don’t think my instance has it or maybe I need to use the advanced UI

     Does it preserve the old version of the post the way the edit feature does on Twitter? I'm wondering how they prevent abuse of this feature.
