   today i looked a bit into the climate change people here in germany. it's a completely corrupt system. NGOs with sub-divisions who are hired for consulting by the goverment. NGOs financed directly by the EU and german government. NGOs financed by foundations receiving state funds. NGOs making money from cease&desist racketeering. ALL the people know each other and give their hell spawn high ranking jobs in these NGOs. it's "NGOs" all the way down. the mafia would pale in comparison.

     @iron_bug there probably are good ones. i think the FSF doesn't do these things. the FSFE on the other hand is pretty much as corrupt as it gets.

     @bonifartius that was alsways like that. that's why I never trust any NGOs. they all are designed for extorting money from people - via taxes or via donations, whatever. and they all are liars and corrupted cons.

     The FSF didn't take part in the slander of rms - all they did was advise that he temporarily resign from his position so that proprietary software adjacent aggressors would think they won and he's now back.
     
     Only open sores projects have suffered from CoC's - free software projects rightfully point out that such proprietary restrictions are incompatible with the requirements of the the GNU licenses and do not implement them.

     @bonifartius FSF cancelled RMS for some stupid crap that I cannot even describe with normal human words. that's worse than sick. they stomped into woke shit and I don't participate into such games. no way.
     and then... look at what free software turns into nowadays. it turns to total crap. because they try to include idiots into development and trash down code base with some kids scripts. I really hate this. no way I ever participate in such things.
     I stand for professional qualified suckless optimized serious software in open source, not for stupid bullshit that devours resources. I'm "show me your code" person and absolutely sure programming takes brains, education, knowledge and experience, and no fucking COCs.
