   @waifu For a while several years ago I made super simple videos on YouTube showing how to do something in as little running length as possible. What I found out was, the YouTube algorithm punishes short videos :-(

     not enough overproduced dubstep intro

     not enough "hey guys today we're going to"

     not enough "smash that bell, like the subscribe button"

     not enough waffling about for 30% of the video talking about your other projects nobody cares about

     = shit promotion rating

     @sun @waifu I've learned it's a very fine line to ride between "slow and specific enough to be accessible for everyone" and "overly detailed, not fast enough for powerusers"

     It's like the bell curve but inverted - a notch filter to target the most people to help in the shortest time possible.
