   @ScriptFanix this is an interesting topic. I wonder whether fedi filters for ASD+ADD, since it's such an easy dopamine generator. and ASD folks without ADD might be too busy focusing on their specific niches.

     @kaia I've met a few ASD's IRL, and I have yet to meet one without at least ADD... But I'm sure they exist, as this poll shows.

     interestingly some AuDHD folks who take stimulants lose their ability to heavily multitask. and others lose their ability to hyperfocus :SagaHmm:

     @kaia This makes me think of something that happened today. Autistic girlfriend was driving, and the music was also comintg from her phone (BT). At some point the music ran out and she made something really dangerous: selecting the music herself, while driving. I said "You want me to do that?" but ASD hyperfocus had kicked in and she didn't even hear me.
     Next time music ran ourt, I asked "you want me to select something to play?" before she even began to do it herseld. A,nd she said yes

     I think there are probably other factors at play. Instagram is engineered to keep you hooked for as long as possible, and it does that well. Maybe it's because the fediverse *doesn't* fish for attention that it's so popular with us folks.

     Also might just be an affect of how the fediverse works, where we only see the people we interact with most. It's easy to like people we can relate to!

     @kaia Yeah ! Though she slowed dows a lot, she went from 130km/h on the highway to 90 behind a truck.Still dangerous.
     I don't think she even heard me when I asked if she wanted me to do this

     @kaia BTW she doesn't take stimulants. She has prescription for ritalin but only takes it when she's tired or want to party
