@encthenet In the south of Wales, road signs are written in English and then Welsh. After living there for a few years, I was surprised that slightly further North, the signs were Welsh only. It took me going past a couple of the, to realise that they weren’t. They were written in Welsh then English and my brain filtered out the alternate lines.

I read something that was partly right side up, and partly upside down. I flipped my phone to read the upside down part, but my brain, having recently seen the right side up part, "read" that fine despite it being now upside down, even though I previously had trouble reading upside down.
It's kinda amazing what our brains can do w/o us realizing it.
