I help as many people as I can get into cybersecurity jobs. I do that through a number of outlets. Let's talk about them briefly:
- 1:1 career mentoring - this is all, I promise, all of my free time. My calendar fills up well in advance, and I wish other people did this. The calendly link is always in my bio.
- PancakesCon - I run a free conference every spring. It runs only because people help and volunteer.
- Speaking - I speak for free at community events when I can and am asked in advance. I speak commercially through an agent for companies.
- Clinics - I run free career clinics at community conferences, when I can and I am asked in advance.
Most of my free community work, as well as my conference, are funded through commercial speaking, and I cannot do them without those engagements (or conference stipends). My availability varies accordingly.
