Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 20-Sep-2024 00:31:49 JST Bread up, Bro @Groomschild in economics "price controls" is when you say "the price of this object is X or cannot exceed Y"
There are already percentage caps on payday loans, as an example. -

Bread up, Bro (sickburnbro@poa.st)'s status on Friday, 20-Sep-2024 00:35:11 JST Bread up, Bro @doctorsex @Groomschild right. The point I'm trying to make is that everyone agrees that regulations have costs. The whole point of having a definition of a special set - "price controls" is that those are the ones that have been shown to just not do what you ever hope. -

>Landlords are put off by agency red tape and things like mandatory inspections to make sure a property is safe.
I had a buddy who ran a Section 8 house for a relative (note the case, he said "never again") and the government would stop by and demand all kind of upgrades if he wanted to get paid. He said the house was nicer than his own when he was done (but of course it didn't stop the renter from trashing it).Bread up, Bro likes this. -
