     I remember when I was a kid, Carl Sagan (and so many others) often spoke about this immediate challenge that humankind had before it that could wipe us all out: global thermonuclear war
     somehow, we made it
     now it's global war ming
     it's getting thinner and thinner, but I #Hope somehow we'll make it

     I've long been fighting for software freedom. at some point, it looked like we could accomplish just about anything. nowadays, the tech overlords have tightened their grip so hard that it feels hopeless.
     but even people who used to disregard the abuse are now waking up to it, complaining about growing enshittification, and rising up against it #Hope
